After the webinar, several people asked –What is the cost of the E-Signature features?
Answer – There is no cost to the Brokers, Agents or Buyers for using E-Signature on the HUD Sales contracts.
Also, another Reminder – Get Recertified with HUD to get your NAID Information up to date
HUD requires that brokers recertify their NAID every year by submitting an updated HUD SAMS-1111 form. This ensures that the information associated with your NAID is accurate — something especially important for the new e-signature sales contracts. Recertification might take a few weeks to process.
To check if your certification with HUD is current, go to the NAID Application webpage at HUD Home – NAID Application.
Click the “Check current NAID Status” button, enter your SSN/EIN, and click Submit.
If you have questions about updating your NAID information, call the FHA Resource Center at (800) 225-5342 (option 3, then option 1). You may need to send in more than just a SAMS-1111 to bring your information up to date.
