As important as it is to be involved in your local community, it's equally important that we as REALTORS®, are involved at the state and federal levels of government as well.

Committees

Government Affairs Committee - Consists of REALTORS® and Affiliates who meet monthly to talk about what's happening at the local, state, and national levels. While joining efforts to take part in issues mobilization, election processes and fundraising, municipal meetings, and events the Government Affairs committee is your chance to speak and be heard!

SCCARPAC Board of Trustees - The St. Charles County Association of REALTORS® Political Action Committee - Consists of appointed members who meet monthly to discuss the Association's RPAC goals and fundraising efforts. The SCCARPAC Board of Trustees works closely with the Government Affairs committee to adequately disperse Association support and funds in reference to candidates seeking office and issues pertaining to the REALTOR® party.

Events

General Membership Meetings - All members are invited to enjoy a nice meal, some networking, and a few words from one of our speakers.

• February 13, 2008 - Luncheon with Charles McMillan, NAR 2008 President-Elect.
• September 11, 2008 - Safety Week Joint meeting with Women's Council of REALTORS®

RPAC Fundraising Events - All members are invited to join us by having fun and helping raising funds to support your future.

• May 21, 2008 - RPAC Golf Tournament - The Falls Golf Course
