Mark Stallmann brought over 25 years of real estate experience to the position of Chief Executive Officer when he joined the St. Charles County Association of REALTORS® (SCCAR) in 2004. Stallmann is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the Association and ensuring that the Association fulfills its mission of providing our members with the products, knowledge and tools they need to be successful.
Stallmann holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He is a recipient of that institution’s Distinguished Alumni Award. Stallmann received his Missouri Real Estate Broker’s license in 1978. Throughout his real estate career, he has worked as a sales agent, marketing manager, sales manager and broker/owner for several St. Louis area real estate firms. Prior to joining the Association, Stallmann worked as the Commercial Department Manager for a St. Louis title company.
Stallmann has been an active volunteer leader in the REALTOR® organization. He served as the 1997 President of the St. Louis Association of REALTORS® (SLAR) and received that organization’s prestigious REALTOR® of the Year award in 2000. Prior to his election as President, he served SLAR as an officer, director and chair of several committees and task forces, including: RPAC, Government Affairs, Personnel and Bylaws. Stallmann went on to serve as the 2002 President of the Missouri Association of REALTORS® (MAR) and continues to serve as an MAR Director and RPAC Trustee. Prior to his election as President, he served MAR as an officer and as chair of several committees and task forces, including: Finance, Credentials, Standard Forms and Public Relations. He is a past Director of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and currently serves as a member of NAR’s Communications Committee.
An avid believer in education, Stallmann has authored several continuing education courses. He is a certified At Home With Diversity instructor for NAR and has taught continuing education classes for many REALTOR® organizations. He holds the At Home With Diversity and e-PRO certifications and the GRI designation. Stallmann also is a NAR trained Mediator. He is working towards his REALTOR® Certified Executive designation.
Stallmann has been active in community and civic affairs throughout his adult life. His service has included: member, Maplewood City Council; finance chair, St. Louis County Municipal League; member, Board of Directors, Missouri Municipal League; Vice President, Maplewood Community Betterment Foundation; chair, Maplewood Housing Authority; member, Missouri Commission on Childhood Lead Poisoning; member, Special School District of St. Louis County Public Review Committee; co-chair, Friends of Special Kids Campaign; Treasurer, Citizens for Local Control of SSD; Treasurer, People for Parks. He is an active member of Concordia Lutheran Church-Maplewood where he currently serves as an Elder.
