Notice of Form Revisions for January 1, 2020
The Risk Management committee reviewed and updated the entire forms library this year. All forms will reflect a version date of January 1, 2020.
ALL FORMS WITH A VERSION DATE PRIOR TO JANUARY 1, 2020 WILL EXPIRE JUNE 30, 2020.
The following updates were made:
- All forms have line numbers
- Signature lines consistent
- Verbiage reviewed for correct use of proper nouns (Buyer, Seller, Listing Broker, etc.) per AP
Style guidelines; use of correct grammar and punctuation.
IMPORTANT: Form #2129-Inspection Notice and #2129a-Continuation of Inspection Notice have been combined. The approved combined form #2129 Inspection Notice will allow both Buyer and Seller to know all options available during the negotiations, from the start. In addition, it will provide room to include an additional counter (if needed) for each party.
- Form #2129a will be Withdrawn from our library on June 30, 2020.
Use of withdrawn or expired forms: Use of withdrawn or expired forms is in violation of the copyright. It is a violation of the Missouri law to use forms for which the approval has been withdrawn. The association will not defend the use of withdrawn or expired forms. Generally E&O insurance policies require the use of current approved forms.
All online form vendor sites (formsRUs, zipForms & dotloop) will be updated by January 1, 2020.
Printed forms will be available in the REALTOR® Shoppe upon request.
