How do I find out when my 12 hours of CE is due?
2008 is a renewal year which means that all licensed brokers must complete their 12 hours of continued education by June 30, 2008, and all licened agents must completed their 12 hours of continued education by September 30, 2008. How much will it cost me to join the Association and is there a monthly fee?
There is a one-time application fee plus annual dues. Please go to the Member Tools tab and then Pay Dues to calculate the current amount.
I am a new agent. How much does it cost to join Maris?

How is the dues amount decided from year to year?
The annual membership dues amount is made up of three different amounts: local dues (SCCAR), state dues (MAR), and national dues (NAR). Each of those amounts is determined by that level's Board of Directors during the budgeting process. The local dues amount has not been raised since 2001.
How do I get to the online forms?
There is a link on the bottom of the Home Page of our website. Click on the link and to log in, type in your full name including middle initial with a period after it (case sensitive). Your NRDS number is your password.
How do you get to be a HUD-approved REALTORŪ?
To be approved by HUD to sell their properties, a REALTORŪ must fill out some paperwork for HUD and meet their qualifications. Please contact the local office of HUD for more information.
Where can I find out the statistic for percentage of homes sold at an open house?
There are no statistics for this. Open Houses are historically a great way to expose a listing to potential buyers. The more people that come through a property, the quicker it will sell.
Are sellers required by St Charles County to provide a copy of a current survey prior to close to the buyers at their expense?
Nowhere in St. Charles County that I am aware of are the sellers required to provide a survey. In the City of St. Peters, sellers must provide a St. Peters disclosure form to buyers. Is there a web site that I can search to find out if someone is an agent?
Yes, on our website you can click on the For Buyers & Sellers button, then on Find a REALTOR or Member Directory. Please note that this Directory only lists REALTOR members of the St. Charles County Association.
Do all agents in the St. Charles area have to be a member of the Association?
No, real estate agents do not have to join a local Association of REALTORSŪ if they do not want to. However, an agent must join an Association if he or she wants access to the MLS and/or Supra key. Also, a real estate agent is not a REALTOR unless he or she joins an Association of REALTORS.
Where do I go on this site to pay my dues online?
On the top right corner of the Home page, click on the Member Services Login Now. Your login in is your NRDS # (found on your NAR member card) and your password is the last four digits of your Social Security #. Once in, click on Pay Your Bills Online.

Your login is your NRDS number which can be found on the address label of the REALTORŪ Magazine sent by the National Association of REALTORS. How do you get a key to a HUD home?
The only way to get a key to a HUD home is to be a HUD-approved REALTORŪ. To gain access, call the listing agent (who is a HUD-approved REALTORŪ) and have him/her meet you at the home.
