Home buyers get a lot of information from the seller’s disclosure agreement, the home inspector and maybe even their new neighbors. But there may be some questions that you will want to ask the seller or their agent at the walk-thru or before closing. You might want to ask them to show you where such things at the water shutoff valve, sump pump, circuit breaker box and other crucial items are located. This will save you a lot of time after you move in. Plus, you may want to ask them if there is anything they want to leave behind. While, appliances and other major items are usually covered in the contract, the sellers may have furniture or other items that they would just as soon leave you than move to their new home. It never hurts to ask!
