National Association of REALTORS President Elizabeth Mendenhall responded to the February 18th guest column in USA Today: “Why your home is a lousy investment when you think it’s great.” Mendenhall in her letter to the editor points out that the article has two glaring omissions in it that would otherwise show that homeownership is indeed a solid investment for millions of middle-class Americans.
