The real estate market in St. Charles County has completely recovered from the recession. The median sales price of a home in St. Charles County was $189,000 during the first nine months of this year. That is higher than the average sales price of $188,000 in 2006, and is the highest median value ever recorded in St. Charles County. This is an increase of just under 5 percent from the same time one year ago.
In more good news, the number of homes sold rose over 17 percent in the first nine months of this year over the same period last year. Plus the average days on the market is down to just 24 days.
