The St. Louis region is a great place for renters to move into homeownership according to a recent National Association of REALTORS survey! The NAR survey showed that this metro area tied for fourth in the nation in the highest share of renters who qualify to buy! The survey looked at average family income, job opportunity and housing affordability as factors to determine how attractive it is for renters to become homebuyers in each market surveyed. The conclusion was that 41 percent of renters in this region can afford to buy a home!
