Three-Quarters of American households believe that now is a good time to buy, according to a recent NAR Survey. 80 percent of homeowners, and 62 percent of renters believe that now is a good time to buy according to the Second Quarter Home Consumer Survey. Midwest Homeowners with incomes above $100,000 are the most optimistic. While renters under the age of 35 were the least confident about buying a home. Young renters are concerned about their student debt and qualifying for a mortgage. Almost all surveyed say that they believe home prices in their area will stay steady or rise in the year ahead!
